Orientation |

New students are given briefings on matters pertaining to their courses, fees, accommodation and rules and regulations of the University. They are also advised on personal safety and security matters while living and traveling in the country. A city tour is organized for new foreign students joining in the September intakes.

Counseling |
|
Students are given counseling on academic and non-academic matters by qualified counselors of the student's services department.
The representatives for foreign students remains in close contact with the international office to guide the foreign students in their native language.
The international office together with the representatives for foreign students look after the welfare of international students. A range of assistance and services are provided to students after they are accepted for admission. These include application and renewal students Visa/Passports, Airport pick-up (for the first time only), telephone call back home upon, opening of bank account, periodic reporting to parents/guardians of students etc.

Clubs and Societies |
|
There are students clubs and societies to enrich the social, cultural and sporting interest of students.
Students are encouraged to join these clubs and societies as they enable them to broadent their non-academic interest and exchange experiences with students from many countries studying at the University.
